Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ’96” release was inarguably one of the brand’s most successful and most anticipated drops of 2017 as it dressed one of the most popular Jumpman silhouettes in a boisterous red patent leather scheme. Now, the brand is riding that momentum by utilizing that same aesthetic on the Air Jordan 1 Low for kids. While patent leather doesn’t engulf the entire selection, it covers most of the mudguard, just New Jordans like the Jordan 11. There is currently no release date information available, but expect this pair to arrive at retailers soon. In the meantime, enjoy an official set of images below and stay tuned for updates.
We can fully expect Jordan Brand to re-tell the heroic tales of Michael Jordan and his Jordan Shoes ventures on the baseball diamond this Spring. In 2017, the Air Jordan 9 re-appeared in baseball-glove form with a unique packaging set-up that harkened back to the days of ripping open baseball cards. It’ll be hard to top that release, but we’re certain that a heavy hitter is on deck. What we Jordan 11 do know is that the Air Jordan 11 Low, a silhouette that has established itself as the unofficial Retro release of the April/May/June Summer season, will make a comeback in cleated form in at least two colorways. If you’re not into the sport, keep in mind that the Air Jordan 11 Low Jordan 11 Low “Cool Grey” as well an Easter-inspired version in candy green are set to drop that season as well.
Don C’s impressive touch with his sneaker collaborations with Nike and Jordan have led to some appealing releases over the last few years. His AF100 design of last November, a blend of the Air Jordans For Sale Force 1 and Air Force III, was certainly well-received, while his quilted take on the Air Jordan 2 Retro elevated the overall reputation of one of the more underwhelming Air Jordan models in history. It appears that the Chicago creative is getting his own silhouette with Jordan Brand called the Legacy 312, Jordan 11 For Sale a new hybrid sneaker that combines key elements of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, and Air Revolution.The sole, heel, and elephant print mudguard is quite obviously from the Air Jordan 3, while the upper is predominately the DNA of the Air Jordan 1. The execution of the Legacy 312 harkens back to the days of the Jordan Force Fusion era, which saw the most storied Air Jordans get fused with the Air Force 1 to lukewarm reception.
